Since the massive increase in mob density in patch 1.1.1, Zalat's Lair has jumped to the top of the list of the best dungeons to farm XP in Diablo 4. With so many spider monsters and elite enemies, it's easy to see why.
This guide will show you how to find Sarat's Lair in Diablo 4 Season 1 for XP and Legendary gear.
Sarat's Hideout
If you want to farm Sarat's Lair in Diablo 4, this dungeon is located in The Downs area of the Scosglen area southeast of Cerrigar Waypoint:
Sarat's Lair is great for early XP farming, one of the reasons it's so close to the Seliga waypoint.
This is especially useful for players who haven't unlocked the Nightmare Dungeon, as it allows you to teleport directly to the dungeon entrance.
Early in the game, setting dungeons near waypoints can save players time quickly returning to farmland and resetting dungeons after leaving the game.
The dungeon itself is pretty simple, requiring only two main objectives to complete:

After accumulating Nightmare Sigils in Sarat's Lair, you can plant them in the Nightmare Dungeon in Sarat's Lair.
The more enemy creatures you kill in the Nightmare Dungeon, the more rewards and experience points you get.
Focus on doing lots of crit damage and AOE attacks to take advantage of the dungeon's tight layout and high creature density.
Using Elixir increases your XP gain by 5%.
Effective potions against spider-like enemies are Beast Slayer or Anti-Venom.
