New FUT Academy Game Mode and Mastery System Rumored to Appear in EA FC 24

EA Sports is ready to release their new football title, EA FC, which is set to replace FC 24. The company has introduced innovative features to the game, including a FUT Academy game mode and Mastery system, which has been rumored to appear in Ultimate Team. The Mastery Objective system is used to level up players and make more cards usable in the game, similar to FUT Ultimate Team. The game mode aims to provide players with an opportunity to grow their player stats by fulfilling several requirements with restrictions on which playing cards to use. Although the game mode is still under development, it is expected that the quests will gradually become more open, allowing different players to become upgraded. Some quests in FUT Academy mode may require coins or points, and once a player card is upgraded, it will become untradeable. The upgraded cards may also only be available for use in FUT Academy mode.

EA Sports' new game will have similar gameplay to FUT, with all favorite modes returning, such as Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs, and VOLTA. The games are, unfortunately, following different paths, as FUT is set to produce FC 24 and is still searching for a developer. Gianni Infantino had mentioned FC 24 during a previous speech, but it doesn't look like the game will be available anytime soon. Rumors have suggested 2K may be interested in developing the game title. Instead, it's more likely that FUT will enter the market again with FC 25, creating stiff competition with EA FC, as both games aim to reach new heights.
