EA Sports Leak Dettagli di 1.600 giocatori della serie FUT 20 Global

In seguito al lancio della sua ultima iterazione della popolare serie calcistica annuale FUT 20, EA Sports ha segnato un obiettivo personale nel divulgare al pubblico i dettagli personali di 1.600 giocatori della serie globale. Incredibile Jeff.

Il processo di registrazione per la serie si è aperto il 3 ottobre e le parti interessate hanno compilato con entusiasmo i moduli necessari per vederle iscritte al concorso con la possibilità di essere un concorrente verificato FUT Champions.

Sembra abbastanza semplice vero? Solo che non lo è, perché per alcune persone, i moduli di registrazione online mostravano le informazioni di altri concorrenti, dove dovevano inserire le proprie. La schermata di verifica dell'account restituiva l'indirizzo e-mail degli altri giocatori, la data di nascita, l'ID EA e il paese di residenza.

Come riportato da PCGamer, una di queste persone per ottenere le informazioni sensibili era l'ex Nord e il team manager di Hashtag United Esports George Hughes, che ha pubblicato una schermata dell'errore sul suo Twitter, con informazioni censurate.

Poiché le informazioni erano in circolazione e diffuse, EA è intervenuta in 30 minuti dopo che la registrazione è stata pubblicata alle 13:00 per agire. Hanno chiuso la pagina dell'applicazione e dopo aver cercato l'origine dell'errore, hanno pubblicato su Twitter che sono sicuri di aver risolto il problema.

Come affermato, tuttavia, 1.600 persone che hanno compilato il modulo di registrazione prima che EA lo disconnettessero potrebbero essere state interessate e al momento della stesura di questo documento, non è stato detto nulla su cosa fare se si pensa di essere tra questi.
